⚠️Beware of hidden batteries! Batteries should never go in the recycling, and some don`t go in the trash, either—they are a major cause of fires at sorting facilities. A lot of Halloween decorations (even the small ones) have batteries in them. If you`re getting rid of old decor, check it for batteries before donating or throwing it away.
➡️Only single-use alkaline batteries can go in the trash.
➡️For all other kinds, take them to a drop-off location: link in bio.

Apple-picking tip: Some orchards will allow you to bring your own reusable bag! Check the orchard`s website before you go to see what`s allowed.
Otherwise, paper apple-picking bags are recyclable, but plastic ones are not. Take plastic bags to a retail drop-off location.
Don`t forget to bring your reusable water bottle to stay hydrated as you find the best picks! 🤌🍏
