Auburn residents have access to the Leicester Recycling Center to dispose of hard to recycle items.

The Recycling Center is open the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of every month from 8 am to 1 pm and staffed 100% by volunteers.

A sticker is required for access to the Recycling Center and is valid from August 1st through the following July 31st. Residents and non-residents of Leicester may use the Recycling Center (the fee is slightly higher for non-residents). On the rare occasions when the Recycling Center is closed because of weather, the closures are posted on the Recycling Center’s Facebook page and, when possible, on the Town of Leicester’s homepage. The Recycling Center is closed when the temperature is going to be 15 degrees or colder, or if there has been a snow or ice storm and the Highway Department has not yet treated the surfaces at the Recycling Center.
