For bulk item disposal, Worcester residents may make an appointment to drop off bulk waste for a flat fee of $5 each (with the exception of mattresses and boxsprings). Appointments are available April – November/December (Weather Permitting) at the following times:

Wednesday appointments: 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday appointments: 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Payment is accepted by check or exact cash only – no change is available on-site. Proof of residency is required. Commercial vehicles are not permitted. Visit Bulk Waste Disposal | City of Worcester to learn more and schedule an appointment.

April – November:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in November)
Winter Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Mercury-Containing Products includes fluorescent lamps/CFLs, button batteries, thermostats, thermometers, switches, etc.
