The transfer station is located on 7 Quaboag Street, just behind the Clam Box restaurant. Permits are required at a cost of $95.00 per year. Permits are available from transfer station personnel. Special Brookfield trash bags must be used for all trash being deposited at the station, and may be purchased at Tip Top Country Store, Central Package Store, or the Brookfield Transfer Station at a cost of $15.00 per package of ten bags.

Bags that are not Brookfield Bags (bags purchased for the Transfer Station) of the equivalent size will be a $3.00 charge.

Note: As of June 1st, 2023, we are no longer able to receive tires that have metal rims! Customers can remove the rim and put the tire in the tire bin at the regular price. The rim can then be put in the metal bin at no cost.
