Swap Shed (open year-round on transfer station schedule): Free give/take of reusable home goods and furnishings, books, exercise/sports equipment, furniture, housewares, toys, and other items in quality condition.

When dropping off textiles (clothes, towels, bedding, plush toys, purses, shoes, etc) in the designated textile bins, please be sure items are clean and dry and placed in a plastic bag.

Paper shredding events are often held in spring at Townsend’s Earth Day event and through Main Street Bank’s Shred Days.

The Rotary Club of Ayer, Shirley, Harvard and Devens accepts used medical equipment.
