From reselling gently used mattresses, to providing reusable containers for meals on the go, to giving pre-loved dorm décor another life: these local orgs are making reuse happen. Meet a MRF Operator – Seeing is Believing!
Imagine a Touch-a-Truck event for recycling, and prepare to see and hear all about how materials recovery facilities (MRFs) work! (The abbreviation MRF is pronounced “murph.”) You’ll see behind-the-scenes footage of how different MRFs sort and bale materials and get the opportunity to ask the experts all your plastics questions. This kind of access doesn’t come often, so register today!
