Reduce, Reuse, Recycle-Palooza!
Hey Smart Recyclers,
It’s our favorite time of year! Each November we like to set aside some time to connect with you, our followers, and this year is no exception. Please join us the week of November 13 for three inspiring and informative waste-related webinars. This is a time for you to ask us questions, learn new things, and interact with like-minded folks.
So grab some lunch or a snack, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle-Palooza is back!
This year we are focusing on waste reduction and why it matters. We’ll start off by sharing the big picture of what’s going on with trash and recycling in MA. Then, we’ll get into the specifics with a webinar showcasing local reuse and repair initiatives and trailblazers. And, of course, we’ll host our annual Ask Me Anything about Recycling in MA webinar, so get your questions ready!
Please note, you must register in advance. Keep scrolling to learn more and save your spot. Our speakers would love for you to tune in to hear their stories!
And don’t forget to keep an eye on our social media platforms. Every Monday in November, we will share a RRR-Palooza post on our Facebook, Instagram, and X pages, so be sure to follow Recycle Smart MA and share our content!

Waste Reduction and Why it Matters
This presentation is for anyone who wants to understand the magnitude of our trash problem (both locally and globally). Learn what is being done, what more can be done, and most importantly, how you can help!
Diminishing trash disposal capacity in Massachusetts is just one compelling reason why we need to rethink our trash habits. Did you know…
- That all landfills in Mass are scheduled to close by 2030 and that the five municipal waste combustors in the state are operating at or near capacity now?
- That the state has established very aggressive goals to reduce the waste we generate?
- That our consumption contributes to climate change?
Tune into this presentation to learn more about how the Commonwealth is working to reduce the amount of trash we send to landfills and municipal waste combustors!
